Toronto Maple Leafs are the NHL's Youngest Team

So with about sixteen games left in the NHL season there is not much drama left if you're a Toronto Maple leafs fan. They are way out of the playoff race now so about the only thing left for them to do is play the spoiler. I guess on another note you could see just how high a draft pick the Boston Bruins are going to get from the Maple Leafs because they gave that up to the Bruins when they signed Phil Kessel at the start of the season. The positive in all of this is that with the player movements before and at the NHL trade deadline the Maple Leafs became the youngest team in the League with alot of promise for the future. Well if you're a Leafs fan you have heard that all before. Leafs fans are truly a "bugger for abuse". 43 years and counting to carry Lord Stanley's Mug. I stand corrected as the Toronto Mpale Leafs are the NHL's second youngest team. The Colubus Blue Jackets are younger by 0.1 years. They have an average age of 26.6 years while the Leafs average age is 26.7 years
